Nearly 100 women attended the 65th anniversary celebration of the Miami Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (MACCW) on April 29, 2023 in Fort Lauderdale. Among them were, from left, Avril King, co-vice president of the MACCW's Central District; Sandra Hill, St. Mary Cathedral affiliation president; and Claudia Cubillos, St. Mary Cathedral affiliation treasurer.
On display at the 65th anniversary celebration of the Miami Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (MACCW), April 29, 2023 in Fort Lauderdale, was a pyramid showing the structure of Catholic women organizations. It starts with the base, the local Affiliation level, then District followed by the Archdiocesan level, which is the MACCW. The next level is the province which is the State of Florida, then the National Council of Catholic Women and finally the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organizations.

Her mother, Daniela Martinez, received a blue rose also in recognition. The award was handed out during the 65th anniversary celebration of the MACCW, on April 29, 2023 in Fort Lauderdale.
Khloe Paredes, senior at Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School in Miami, receives her Golden Rose award from Karen Lorenzen, president of the Miami Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (MACCW).
