The last of the Synod focus teams to meet - the team on Parish Life and Stewardship - held their first meeting at the archdiocesan Pastoral Center November 30th. Participants began by introducing themselves, then moved to working on topics such as how parishes could collaborate better with each other, how parish structures could change to reflect the reality of fewer priests and greater lay participation, and how parish staff could better interact with the community.
