KEY BISCAYNE | Thanks to the generosity of school families and staff members, St. Agnes Academy’s annual Christmas Toy Drive yielded hundreds of toys for the needy children at Centro Mater in Miami. The eighth grade students and teachers then delivered the toys and spent the morning interacting with the children there.
Affiliated with Catholic Health Services, Centro Mater provides quality early-childhood education and social services to low-income families through five nationally accredited sites in Miami-Dade County. The non-profit serves over 1,200 children each year.
