Mother of Our Redeemer takes learning outside the classroom

MIAMI | Seventh graders at Mother of Our Redeemer School recently enjoyed a day of exploration, discovering, and learning at the Frost Museum in downtown Miami. The students enjoyed six floors of informative displays and learning experiences about fauna, environmental habitats, marine life, geography development, and species beginnings.

The day was filled with a lot of questioning and answering, and the students were the best advocates of their own learning experience. Proof that the best learning always happens when physical and mental immersion happens. Mother of Our Redeemer students definitely made connections between their classroom assignments and the museum’s real life and informative displays. 

"Our students look forward to taking their learning to other outside resource locations during their upcoming education," said Principal Ana Casariego. "It was a wonderful day, and we look fondly on our memories made and lessons learned."
