MIAMI | Immaculata-La Salle High School junior Antonio Miranda has successfully qualified for the U.S. Nationals in sailing and will represent the school at the competition for the first time ever.

Miranda accomplished his feat during the Royal Lions' participation at the Single Handed Qualifier for the U.S. Nationals, the weekend of Sept. 21-22. He will be heading to Santa Barbara, California, Nov. 3-4.

His individual success for the Royal Lions follows the team's fourth place finish at last year's SAISA National Regatta in Seattle, Washington.
