FORT LAUDERDALE | Four members of St. Jerome School have been selected to receive the Rising Stars Award.
The four include two teachers: De’Anne Harley and Aileen Romero. The other two are fifth-grader Sabrina Bridget Doherty and fourth-grader Angelina Avila-Wilcox.
Rising Star awards are given to students in the state Step Up FTC program for their academic work, as well as to teachers for leadership in the school community.
St. Jerome’s four winners will take part in an awards ceremony scheduled for 6 p.m. Feb. 7 at Potential Christian Academy, 12401 Stirling Road, Cooper City.
