DORAL | Nearly 250 riders joined Archbishop Thomas Wenski on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, for his annual Motorcycle Ride to benefit St. Luke's Center, an alcohol and drug addiction recovery program sponsored by Catholic Charities.

After celebrating Mass at their starting point, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Doral, the riders ended their journey at Peterson's Harley Davidson South in Cutler Bay. Check out the video above to find out why they rode.

I met archbishop almost 2 years ago at the Harley Davidson dealership and we talked for a little while and I found out that we ride the same bike (Harley Davidson Street Glide). I’ve heard of the ride and the Saint Luke’s ministry, so I came out to give my donation for a worthy cause, enjoyed the mass and the communion remembering the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus! God willing, I will attend the ride next year in 2022!

It was a beautiful event Blessed to have receive Communion before heading out, and having our bikes blessed by the Archbishop. Happy to have embarked on a pleasant ride, with excellent weather. Everyone was full of Joy and a welcomed change from the worries of COVID-19. Will do it again on a heartbeat, specially since our donation is going to a good Charity thru the Catholic Church. Let's do it more often!!
