MIAMI | Before a crowd of fellow religious and well-wishers, six women professed their final vows as members of the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
The ceremony took place Feb. 11, 2024, at St. Mary Cathedral, with Archbishop Thomas Wenski presiding.
Those making their final vows were:
- Sister Mary Rachel of the Pierced and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, who serves as postulant formator for the community
- Sister Monica Bernadette of the Immaculate Conception, who serves in Marriage and Family Life Ministry to Hispanics in the Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kansas
- Sister Brittany Rose of the Spousal and Maternal Love of Mary, who serves as campus minister for Catholic Campus Ministry-Jacksonville in the Diocese of St. Augustine, Florida
- Sister Molly Joyce of the Merciful Heart of Jesus, who serves as middle school religion teacher and campus minister at San Juan del Rio School and as youth coordinator at San Jose Church in the Diocese of St. Augustine
- Sister Clare Marie of the Immaculate Lamb, who serves as director of evangelization at the Holy Spirit Catholic Newman Center in the Diocese of Phoenix, Arizona
- Sister Alexia Maria of the Immaculate Mother of the Redeemer, who serves as director of novices for the community and as spiritual director for Hispanic Young Adults in the Archdiocese of Miami.
