Archdiocese of Miami: time to go back to school

Miami... (Aug. 16, 2022) Wednesday, Aug. 17, marks the beginning of a new school year. More than 35,000 students will be going back to school at one of the 63 Catholic schools that are part of the Archdiocese of Miami.

Throughout this week, students and their parents entering high school for the first time had the opportunity to get acquainted with their new schools and their class schedule during freshmen orientation.

Teachers are also getting ready. More than 2,620 faculty members and 138 administrators have been preparing the curriculum and activities for a year of academic success.
