MIAMI | Archbishop Thomas Wenski and Auxiliary Bishop Enrique Delgado celebrated Ash Wednesday Masses Feb. 22, 2023 at St. Anthony Church in Fort Lauderdale and Gesu Church in Miami, respectively.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, 40 days of prayer, fasting and almsgiving leading up to the Easter Triduum of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil.
