SEPI: Because Hispanic immigrants still need accompaniment

Listen to the latest episode of our podcast, What the Faith, Miami?

MIAMI | Since 1978, the Southeast Regional Office for Hispanic Ministry — better known as SEPI —has helped nine states in the region and the 30 dioceses that comprise them to identify Hispanics and make them feel welcome in the Church, in addition to providing training for Hispanic lay leaders.

In this new edition of What the Faith, Miami?, SEPI's director, Olga Villar, the first woman and laywoman to hold the position, gives us a little history and explains how this important ministry continues to operate throughout the southeastern region of the U.S.
