MIAMI | The school community of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy began Holy Week by gathering for an all-school exposition and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
The April 3, 2023 service, in keeping with the U.S. bishops’ call for a National Eucharistic Revival, allowed students and faculty the opportunity to enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s presence in the Eucharist.
The Lourdes community would like to thank Deacon Louis Phang Sang, the Lourdes campus ministry team, and guest speaker/musician and former Lourdes faculty member, Nico Cabrera.
Most other schools in the archdiocese, elementary and high school, marked this Holy Week with special events such as by staging living Stations of the Cross to remember how Christ suffered and died for us.
