Miami, FL (June 21, 2024) - The Archdiocese of Miami welcomes changes in leadership within the Office of Communications effective immediately.

Juan Alejandro Di Prado will assume the role of Senior Director of Communications and lead the Communications Office for the Archdiocese of Miami, a role previously held by Mary Ross Agosta. In addition, the Communications Office also welcomes Michelle Jurado as the new Director of Media Relations.

Since joining the Archdiocese of Miami, Di Prado served as the Media Coordinator for the Communications Office from 2012-2017. Most recently, Di Prado was the Director of the Youth and Young Adults Program at the Archdiocese of Miami for the past year. Aside from his archdiocesan experience, he has also held positions at the Massachusetts State Lottery and NBC Universal. Juan has over 13 years of experience in public relations, journalism, digital media marketing, and social media.

Michelle Jurado joins the Archdiocese of Miami with over a decade of experience in the areas of media relations, public relations, and journalism, holding positions at WFOR-CBS4, WLTV-Univision, and more recently as the Communications Special Projects Coordinator at Miami-Dade County's Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. In her new role as Director of Media Relations, Jurado will be responsible for all media inquiries, interview requests, and other media-related tasks on behalf of the archdiocese and its entities.
