Step Up Day at St. Brendan Elementary allowed PreK-4 and kindergarten students to visit their future classrooms, as well as interact with a buddy-mentor who guided them throughout the day.

MIAMI| On April 24, PK-4 and kindergarten students from St. Brendan Elementary got a sneak peek of what awaits them next year during Step Up Day.

PK-4 students walked over from La Casita, their home away from home for four years, and came over to the “big school” to act as kindergarteners for the day.

Kindergarten students crossed over to first grade and paired up with a buddy who guided them throughout the day. Students engaged in activities that gave them an idea of what to look forward to next year.
