Father Robs Charles signs the Oath of Fidelity as Msgr. Kenneth Schwanger, dean (or archbishop's representative) of the Northeast Broward Deanery, looks on.
WILTON MANORS The feast of St. Clement marked a double celebration at St. Clement Parish: In addition to a community celebration of their patron, parishioners also watched as Father Robs Charles was formally installed as their new pastor.
The evening Mass Nov. 23 was preceded by a ministry fair during the weekend of Nov. 21 and 22, where parishioners were encouraged to get involved in parish ministries and groups.
Father Charles was administrator of Divine Mercy Haitian Mission in Fort Lauderdale, which merged with St. Clement in October.
Theres still some resentments, he said, but among all the hardships and difficulties were moving along.
