HIALEAH | More archdiocesan pastors, along with their staffs, attended the sixth of eight leadership training and parish planning sessions being held throughout the archdiocese as a response to the recommendations of the Synod. This session took place Aug. 27 at Immaculate Conception Church in Hialeah, with representation from 42 priests and staffers in 10 parishes.

Two sessions remain, and pastors who have yet to sign up are encouraged to do so: Sept. 30 at Little Flower Church in Coral Gables; and Oct. 1 at St. Bonaventure Church in Davie. The sessions run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are led by Rosemarie Banich, former director of the archdiocesan Synod and now a consultant with the Catholic Leadership Institute.
