MIAMI | Two more women professed their first vows with the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary during a ceremony May 13 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Miami.
Novice Guadalupe Hermosillo became Sister Guadalupe Magdalena of the Loving and Merciful Gaze of Jesus; and novice Josephine Lundstrom became Sister Josephine Marie of the Pieta.
Bishop Fernando Isern, emeritus of Pueblo, Colorado, presided at the Mass which was concelebrated by a number of archdiocesan priests and attended by most of the other Servants of the Pierced Hearts as well as family and friends of the two new sisters.
