MIAMI | Students from St. Brendan Elementary have been busy elves, this Christmas, bringing cheer to the elderly and collecting goodies for orphans.
The first graders brought joy and happiness to the elderly residents at the Senior Center in Westchester. Commissioner Javier Souto was also present to spread some holiday cheer with the students and the seniors. The students danced and sang Christmas songs. They also exchanged gifts with the residents.
The National Junior Honor Society, in the meantime, put together Christmas
stockings in coordination with the St . Brendan High Spanish Honor
Society. These stockings will be hand delivered
to an orphanage in Mexico.
