MIAMI | St. Brendan Elementary�s seventh and eighth grade students received first and second place overall trophies and 25 medals at the Msgr. Edward Pace High School Academic Olympics Dec. 1. The school competed against other archdiocesan elementary schools and brought home medals in social studies, English, technology, science, art, speech, Spanish and religion.�We are very proud of our outstanding seventh and eighth grade students and teachers,� said the school�s principal, Betty Furmanick.

Eighth grade: Finished in first place
