Sts. Peter and Paul School updates

Recent events include lector blessing, AIDS presentation

MIAMI - Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School has had a number of recent events. This week, the eighth grade students in the Charles De Foucauld Mission club loaded items that were collected for Respect Life of the Archdiocese of Miami. Items collected included diapers, car seats, strollers and more. The students who participated included Stephanie Chaviano, Natasha Rubines, Sophia Maristany, Sabrina Zelaya, Nicholas Perez, Alex Vizcarra, Sara Palacios, Gabriela Galbis, and Sophia Kaskavalciyan.

Additionally, Ainhoa Tollinche, science teacher at St. Brendan High School, spoke to students on Dec. 1, World AIDS Day. Middle School students interacted with Tollinche and asked many questions on HIV/AIDS.

In November, Father Juan M. Lopez, pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, blessed the students who will serve as lectors for the school masses.

Under the leadership of Dr. Morales, the students at Sts. Peter and Paul are learning true life lessons. The integration of classroom learning and community service help to form sincere Catholic citizens. Congratulations on your efforts!
