Archbishop visits McCarthy High

During his first visit to school, he greets girl who was injured in car accident last year

Archbishop Thomas Wenski greets Palida Pongpluempitichai, known as Monica Pong, a McCarthy High School senior who was injured last year in a freak car accident. She is once again attending classes at the school.

Thank you for the great pictures of the Archbishop's Mass at McCarthy High School. May I call your attention to the caption under the second picture? Msgr. Seamus Doyle is the pastor of St. Rose of Lima in Miami Shores. Fr. Brendan Dalton is the priest pictured with the Archbishop. Fr. Dalton is the pastor of St. Bernadette and supervising principal of McCarthy.
