CORAL SPRINGS - Students at St. Andrew Catholic School visited the annual pumpkin patch fundraiser, a two-day event in which students participate in a variety of activities, including picking out pumpkins to carve. The festivities end with a pumpkin math day, where the children apply math skills and learn to make estimates of measurements, weights and heights using the pumpkins.

This year's event raised close to $1,000 and will be used to purchase the latest network technology for fifth grade students at the school, who use personal lap top computers daily in the classroom.
