Middle School Science Teacher

St. Agnes Academy in Key Biscayne, Florida has an opening for a Full-time Middle School Science Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Earth Science, Biology, and Physical Science. This person must be supportive and respectful of the mission, vision, and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church and performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with degrees and years of service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science; Master’s degree in Science preferred.
- FDOE Teaching certification in science, grades 6-12 or grade 5-9.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate the technology skills needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Fully committed, respectful, and supportive of the mission and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and St. Agnes Academy.
- Must have a professional and pleasant, service-oriented demeanor.
