St. Lawrence Catholic School in North Miami Beach, Florida is looking for a candidate who is qualified to join the talented, professional, teaching team as a Pre-K3 Teacher. The applicant must be a nurturing, creative, and dedicated professional with the ability to develop lessons that cultivate critical thinking skills, designing instructions to motivate and engage all learners, and the ability to develop thematic units. The Pre-K3 Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required.
- Must have Part 1 and 2 (40 hours) of Department of Children and Family Certified training and current CDA (or further education).
- Current FDLE and FBI screening passed.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a preschool classroom.
- Proficiency with software for emailing and newsletters, with the ability to teach students to use computers.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Must be of good moral character and supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor and be a team player.
