PK-8 Music Teacher

St. Ambrose Catholic School in Deerfield Beach, Florida is looking for a creative PK-8 Music Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This person will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate music program for all grade levels. The candidate should be professional, disciplined and a team player. The Music Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Music or related field.
- Florida Department of Education certificate is required, temporary or professional.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Excellent presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- The ability to engage and educate students of grade levels PK-8.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
