Natalie Therese Venedicto - St. Kevin Catholic School
MIAMI | After an intense afternoon of competition, St. Kevin School seventh and eighth graders brought home second place overall — and several individual and group medals — after participating in the annual Christopher Columbus High School Academic Olympics. The competition took place Oct. 16, among 16 archdiocesan schools.
Following is the list of St. Kevin students who participated in each subject, and the medals received:
- Art: Mariangie Sangiovanni, Alexander Torres (bronze), Sophia Hevia and Daniel Perez-Marin
- English: Javier Cordova (gold), Tessa Abreu, Michael Lorenzo, and Katelynn Heredia
- History: John Varela, Annabelle Hernandez, Alejandro Romagosa, and Isabella Vazquez
- Math: Luis Cruz, Samantha Herrera (gold), Ethan Puig, and Carolina Luis
- Debate: Alexa Bellon, Xavier Diez-Arguelles, Carolina Peñate, and Mia Perez (group gold)
- Journalism: Sofia Quintana, Katelyn Soto, Sofia Salerno, and Emily Pernas
- Science: Xavier Enriquez (gold), Adrian Conde, Anjolie Caballero (bronze) and Victoria Hernandez
- Religion: Gabriella Menendez (silver), Kelly Trujilli, Brandon Jimenez, and Matthew Barrera
- Spanish: Marc Acebo, Carla Osorio, Sebastian Arritola, and Betsabe Salinas
- Science: Adrian Conde (silver) and Anjolie Caballero
