A pirate ship, a Batmobile and a firetruck, along with an entourage of vibrantly colored convertibles, were all a part of Drive-In Movie Day for Pre-K3 students at Sts. Peter and Paul School. With a little help from their parents, students rode in to their in-class drive-in in style.
MIAMI | South Florida was once filled with drive-in movie theaters. While it may seem a thing of the past, Sts. Peter and Paul School's Pre-K 3 students brought the experience back to life.
On April 24, they recreated a drive-in movie theater, cars and all, for Drive-In Movie Day. With the help of their families, students created cars at home big enough for them to sit in. The students "drove in" an assortment of convertibles, coupes, trucks and other vehicles and watched videos from the comfort of their "front seats" - thus bringing to life a bygone era.
