St. Brendan High School launches its first live stream graduation

MIAMI | St. Brendan High School did a first-ever live streamed graduation ceremony May 29 at the Adrienne Arsht Center.  The school chose streaming the ceremony on its website, allowing families and friends of all 258 graduating students could view it.  

Graduation events began May 22 with 148 seniors at the annual Honors 
Convocation and Academic Awards Ceremony, held at the Intercontinental Doral.  St. Brendan awarded several students for outstanding sacrifice and devotion to the school and community. 

Honorees included Riley Mullins, Community Service Award; Angel Carrasco, Academic Improvement Award; Gabrielle Moya, Personal Growth Award; Briana Bazail, Leadership Award; and Alexa Lorenzo, Sabre Award. 

Also recognized were Alexandra Gutierrez, Archbishop’s Catholic Leadership Award; Sabrina Smith, Principal’s Award; Zuhayr Pigot, Male Scholar Athlete; and Jessica Hernandez, Female Scholar Athlete. 

On May 27, the class of 2015 attended a graduation Mass at the Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables, celebrated by Father Jose Alvarez, president of St. Brendan High School.
